1.1 Information You Provide
- Phone Number — Used only for login. We do not store your phone number beyond what is needed for authentication.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Identifier — A unique device fingerprint is generated on first login to manage your session across devices (maximum 3 devices per account). This is stored in encrypted form and never shared.
- Usage Data — We record which audio tracks you have listened to and which deities you have marked as favorites. This data is used solely to provide your personalized experience within the app.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or physical address.
- We do not collect GPS or precise location data. Location is only used optionally (with your permission) to provide accurate Panchang calculations. Location data is never stored on our servers.
- We do not collect payment information.
- We do not use tracking cookies or advertising trackers.

3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third party except:
- Google AdMob — The app displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization as per Google's privacy policy. You can opt out via your device's ad settings.
- Firebase (Google) — Used for push notifications. Firebase may collect device tokens for notification delivery.
- Legal Requirements — We may disclose data if required by law or court order.

5. Data Security
- All data is stored on secure servers.
- Device fingerprints are encrypted using AES-256 before storage.
- All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS.
- JWT tokens expire after 15 minutes; refresh tokens expire after 7 days.
6. Children's Privacy
Bhakti Setu is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
- Revoke location permission from your device settings (Panchang will use a default central India location).
- Opt out of personalized ads via your device's Google settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted in the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
